July 14th, 2016 will be a show we will never forget. With the new grand stage at Cedar Beach complete and a hell of a lightning storm accompanied by a down pour to start the night, it was sure to be memorable. However, the lasting memory will be what happened after the sun went down.
The new stage being walled off and farther out on the beach than the old stage, combine with the still weather that came after the evening storm brought a massive mosquito attack. The band could be seen swatting and scratching as much or more than playing. So far no reports of west nyle ot zika virus but it’s still pretty early after the attack.
